In the third week of school after Spring Festival, we officially had the first session of the soccer club. In class, we were divided into several three-person teams and fought against each other. Although the weather was very hot that day, it did not stop our enthusiasm. It is worth mentioning that the addition of Mr. Schwartz as the instructor made our game very exciting. In passing and cooperating with teammates again and again, our ball skills are slowly improving, and our tacit understanding with teammates is also slowly improving.

For me, I was definitely excited to see this course at the beginning of my course selection. Being able to enjoy football on campus with classmates around you is undoubtedly a unique experience. My friend Ken Zheng and I signed up for this class immediately. What I found most interesting throughout the class was undoubtedly the rotation of teammates at the end of each game. This allows me to better understand the style of each classmate in the entire team, and it will also lay a better foundation for future competitions.

After the class, I interviewed Ken Zheng. “After one class of training, I can feel that there is still a certain gap in the skills between me and some of my classmates. But I don’t think this affects the good and fun experience of the whole class. Finally, I’m looking forward to the next soccer class.”
