On October 25th, 2022, all students and teachers of the BC program held their annual Halloween assembly in the auditorium of the West Campus of Nanmo.
Halloween is the quirkiest festival, and students and teachers are very actively involved in the activities. When the activity started, students and teachers wore ingenious costumes to enter one by one. Some of the students wore well-dressed and exquisite traditional Chinese dresses, some wore simulated wigs, unique costumes, dressed as characters from animations, dressed up as vampires and werewolves in Western fantasy novels, and some even wore masks disguised as DC supervillains like the Joker.
Everyone enthusiastically participated in the Halloween carnival. The teachers also actively participated. Whether they dressed up as the robot cat from Doraemon, as a prince in fairy tales, or dressed up as skulls with masks, they all become unique participants in this event.
The first program of the event was the Star Wars theme song brought by the orchestra, with the cooperation of the musicians, the sound of violins, cello, and the unique sound of the flute are beautifully integrated, bringing us into the universe.
In the midst of everyone’s unfinished interest in this song, the students in drama class began a short story around the theme of pumpkins. Their acting skills were very superb, and they also interacted with the teachers and students on the scene, bringing the atmosphere to a climax.
After that, there was a popular dance session. In the song “Blah Blah Blah”, five girls wore pink costumes. They were very well synchronized, and danced to the beat of the music, which is very rhythmic, making the audience applaud loudly. Another group of girls, dressed in blue costumes, danced to the music “After Like”, changing their movements to the rhythm of the music, and ended their dance with the audience’s applause.
The most exciting part began, when teachers and students were invited to the stage for a Halloween costume catwalk. During the unique catwalk, everyone applauded and cheered for their favorite characters.
Then, there was the singing session, and the singers on the stage performed the songs “Here’s to never go up” and “Diamonds” very well, which received a series of praise from the audience.
Finally, the dance, which was well prepared by the student council, pushed the scene to a climax under the sparkling lights.
At this point, this Halloween event was over, making people look forward to Halloween next year.
Happy Halloween!
